Catalunya Designation of Origin is situated in the north-est of the Iberian Peninsula between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees.

Catalunya Designation of Origin has approximately 60.000 hectares of wine-growing, wich are located in more than 300 villlages, where vineyards have traditionally been harvested, is a key characteristic typical of its landscapes, people, gastronomy and culture.
